A.      DAIRY SHOWMANSHIP

1. NOVICE:   Age 8 years and over with no prior show experience
2. JUNIOR:  Ages 8  through 12 years
3. INTERMEDIATE:  Ages 13 through 15 years
4. SENIOR:  Ages 16 through 19 years as of January 1, 2010

B.  CATTLE - Each breed will compete separately. (Guernsey, Jersey, Ayrshire, Holstein, Brown Swiss, Milking Shorthorn)

1. Junior Calf (born March 1 - May 31 of current year)
2. Intermediate Calf (born Dec 1, 2009 - Feb 28, 2010)
3. Senior Calf  (born Sept 1, 2009 - Nov 30, 2009)
4. Summer Yearling (born June 1, 2009 - Aug 31, 2009)
5. Jr. Yearling (born Mar 1, 2009 - May 31, 2009)
6. Intermediate Yearling (born Dec 1, 2008 - Feb 29, 2009)
7. Sr. Yearling (born Sept 1, 2008 - Nov 30, 2008)
8. Jr. Champion - Rosette only (winners of Classes 1-7)
9. Cow Class (born before Sept 1, 2008)
10. Grand Champion - Rosette only (winners of Classes 8 & 9)
11. Club Herd (5 animals any age owned by at least 3 exhibitors)

C.  Beef Cattle SHOWMANSHIP

1. NOVICE:  Age 8 years and over with no prior show experience
2. JUNIOR:  Ages 8  through 12 years
3. INTERMEDIATE:  Ages 13 through 15 years
4. SENIOR:  Ages 16 through 19 years as of January 1, 2010

Purebreds will compete against other purebreds; crosses will compete against other crosses.  Heifers and steer will compete separately.  Classes are for animals over one year and under one year for each prospective breed and sex.  There will be no individual champions of breed or sex, but there will be one overall Champion.
